Easy Homemade Spinach Yogurt Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1head garlic
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 560grams cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 1/2 cupsKalleh Parmesan cheese
  • 1cup Kalleh spinach yoghurt
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2cups spinach

A garlicky mixture of green vegetables, fresh herbs, and yogurt can be served as a salad or as a dip with pita and raw vegetables.  A number of vegetables are used to make this spinach yogurt dip , including cucumbers, cabbages, and beets.

 A protein-packed dip like this is one of the best choices for your next party. This dip will make you the best host, so make your own caçik and enjoy the compliments. 

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400F (204 °C).

Step 2

By cutting off the top of the head of garlic, you’ll be able to see the tips of the cloves. Place it in the center of a foil piece, drizzle with one teaspoon of olive oil and coat the garlic.

Wrap the foil tightly around the garlic. You should cook it for about 40 minutes in the oven, on a small baking tray.

Step 3

While roasting the garlic, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Wash, drain, and cut the cauliflower into bite-size pieces. Once the water is boiling, add the cauliflower pieces in the water, cover, and cook until soft and fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and place into a high-powered blender.

Step 4

Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Chop the onion and cook until golden brown for about five minutes. Add it into the blender.
When the garlic has cooked, chop 4/8 cloves of garlic and add it to the blender. Add in 1/2 cup of grated Kalleh parmesan cheese, Kalleh spinach yogurt, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Blend the ingredients set until smooth and creamy. You want a soft and silky texture.

Step 5

Once you have a soft texture, add 1 cup of spinach and turn the blender only to chop them for a few seconds until the spinach is broken down. Chop the remaining spinach roughly and stir into the mixture. This way you can add a desirable texture to this delicious dip.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and sprinkle with the remaining ½ cup of parmesan cheese. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown and bubbly for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy its special taste. You can use this spinach yogurt dip as a side dish with roasted vegetables and meat.

Cooking Notes

This dip can be made with more or less garlic. It depends on how garlicky you want it to be.
