Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and put the rack in the center of the oven. Brush an 8-inch pan square baking pan with butter.

Step 2

Place a saucepan and fill it with hot water and put a medium bowl in it. Combine the butter and chocolate in the bowl. Heat and stir them until smooth and completely melted.

Remove the bowl from the pan. Add vanilla extract and sugar; set aside the mixture to cool. Whisk in the eggs, mix thoroughly. Next, add flour, salt, baking powder, and stir until incorporated. Be careful not to over mix.

Now it’s time to make the cream cheese filling. Prepare a bowl and put the Willie cream cheese, sugar, vanilla in it. Stir them and add an egg yolk. Mix them until well blended.

Transfer half of the cream cheese brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread it in a layer with a spatula. Pour half of the cream cheese by spoon, over the ready brownie batter. Repeat layering the remaining batter and cream cheese.

Put the pan in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Bake it until the cream cheese brownies are set, and a toothpick inserted into the pan’s side comes out clean.

Take the cream cheese brownies out of the oven. Cool the brownies in a pan. Then remove them from the pan. Cut into squares with a sharp knife. Now it’s ready to serve!

Cooking Notes

Do not over mix.
