Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Put the oil in a wide pan over low heat, then add the sliced onion and the bell peppers. Stirring constantly and frying for 3 minutes, until beginning to soften. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in water and salt into a big pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Put the Fusilli pasta, tomato puree, pepper, and two teaspoons of the oregano. Cook it until al dente, for 10 minutes. Then remove the lid.
Stir the pasta, then add in half of the pepperoni and stir again.
Scatter over half of the Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, then dot over the pepperoni slices on the top of the dish (like a pizza). Top with the remaining Fresh Mozzarella Cheese and then sprinkle over the remaining one teaspoon of oregano.
Put it in the preheated oven and cook it for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Garnish with red bell pepper flakes and serve. Enjoy!
Choose a wide, fairly deep pan that is both suitable to go on the stove and in the oven.
Store leftover Pepperoni Pizza Pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
You can add your favorite toppings! Such as jalapenos, onion, garlic, spinach, chicken, olives, mushroom, fresh basil and etc.
