Like pepperoni pizza? So you’ll love this Pepperoni Pizza Pasta, which is a combination of two comfort food favorites! Pepperoni pizza transformed into a wonderful pasta, all made in one pot. This pasta can be customized to your favorites with every meat and veggie imaginable.
The exciting thing about this meal is just how easy, quick, delicious, and very family-friendly it is. We’ve used bell pepper, pepperoni, mozzarella and tomato puree and poured over fusilli pasta. Top with mozzarella cheese and grill until golden and crispy.
This Easy One Pot Pepperoni Pizza Pasta works really well with a green salad, and it can be your new favorite midweek meal!
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Put the oil in a wide pan over low heat, then add the sliced onion and the bell peppers. Stirring constantly and fry for 3 minutes, until beginning to soften. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
pour in water and salt to a big pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Put the fusilli pasta, tomato puree, pepper, and two teaspoons of the oregano cook it until al dente, for 10 minutes. Then remove the lid.
Stir the pasta, then add in half of the pepperoni and stir again.
Scatter over half the mozzarella cheese, then dot over the pepperoni slices on the top of the dish (like a pizza). Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and then sprinkle over the remaining one teaspoon of oregano.
Put it in the preheated oven and cook it for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Garnish with red bell pepper flakes and serve. Enjoy!
Cooking Notes
Choose a wide, fairly deep pan that is both suitable to go on the stove and in the oven.
Store leftover Pepperoni Pizza Pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
