Step 1

To prepare this mind-blowing Homemade Beef Burger, tip the good-quality beef mince into a bowl with a tiny diced onion, egg, and your favorite seasoning. Mix the burger base until combined. You want the silky and semi-sticky consistency.

Step 2

Next, divide the mixture into four portions. Wet your hands and carefully roll the burger mixture into even-sized balls. Each of them must be the size of a tennis ball.
Set the beef burger in the palm of your hand and squeeze the meat down gently to flatten it into patties. The thickness of your homemade burger must be about 3cm thick. Make sure all the beef burgers have the same size and thickness so they will cook evenly.

Step 3

Put the beef burger patties on a plate and cover them with cling film. Let them rest in the fridge to firm up for at least 30 minutes. This way, the meat will blend into the seasoning and onion.

Step 4
