In addition, its savory dressing not only adds flavor to the salad, but also increases nutrient absorption. The daily recommended nutrient intake can be met. Enjoy the incredible taste of Kisir Turkish Salad by trying the following recipe.

Step 1

Using a kettle, bring 350-milliliters of water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Pour boiling water over bulgur wheat in a large bowl until a 1-centimeter layer of water covers the bulgur wheat. Set the bowl aside for about 20 minutes. By doing so, wheat will be able to absorb water.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, add pomegranate molasses, tomato puree, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Step 4

When the bulgur wheat is ready (after 20 minutes), remove the cover and throw away the remaining water. Then add tomato puree mixture and blend until well incorporated.

Step 5

Add finely chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, mint leaves, sliced onions, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, and mix well.

Step 6

You can season the salad with salt, ground pepper, and Turkish chili according to your taste.

Step 7

Allow it to cool to room temperature. Enjoy the scrumptious taste of pomegranate seeds, parsley, and mint as a garnish.

Cooking Notes

If pomegranate molasses is not available, use lemon juice and a bit of maple syrup instead.

Cover Kisir Salad and store it in the fridge for a few hours.
