Description: Red pesto cheese is a semi-hard mature Italian cheese of the Gouda family which contains garlic extract and basil. The cheese has a maturation period of 45 to 60 days. It contains ample amounts of calcium, easy-to-digest protein, phosphorus, and various vitamins with a nutritional value of 12 to 14 kilograms of fresh cow milk.

Usage: Red pesto can be served with many kinds of pastas, snacks, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, salads, and appetizers as well as pears, grapes, hazelnuts, and walnuts on special occasions.
